A case of flavours and surprises for your taste
The peaches are produced in the inland of Agrigento and just few kilometresfar from the coast and they are famous for their sweet taste, as well as for the different typical dimension and colour of each variety. We produce different varieties such as yellowpulp peaches or white-pulp peaches, or nectarine: Laura, Big top, Nectaros, Venus, Sweetred, Sweetlady, Redfire, Morsiani 90, Fairlane, Francesca and California.
The ripening of the different varieties of the peach of Canicattì is late and they grow in vigorous and very productive trees that are sensitive to winter low temperatures. The pulp is yellow, dense and the taste is balanced.
Big, round fruit, slightly asymmetrical, red or yellow.
Sweet but with a a hint of bitterness. The pulp can be white or yellow.

The ideal harvesting time depends on the different varieties of the peach but it is generally between August and September. The fruit is ripe when it turns from green to yellow.
Technology is important to slacken the ripening process of fruit and to prevent a sudden decay of quality. That is why cold stores equipped with a specific ventilation system are used for a good conservation.
